Same here. Mountain Electronics is always the first place I look. Very prompt service and exceptional personal attention to detail on each order that is hard to find anywhere. Just got another order from him today. I should mention that’s an order I placed two days ago and he’s a little over 1800 miles from me. I recommend Richard any chance I get. I’m very happy to support such a great small business.
I recently put together two alleged Supfire (read cheap) 3xAA/18650 S-7 tube lights.
Went with his Nichia triples and 6 mode plus moon Q-lite drivers (6 modes is sort of too many) but it is like Red neck ramping. Anyway, after I got them together I had a mystery (either only one mode, or 6 modes no problem, or 6 modes highest mode blinks three times in like 15 sec and then cuts power in half) gremlin.
Well Richard responded super fast and helped me trouble shoot it (in fact I had to beg off because when I understood it was not a software setting issue but some classic intermittent (mechanical something issue, I still don’t totally have it fixed, but I think it is a cheap switch root cause) it was just unfair to ask Richard to help me resolve the issue further.
Ok my point being he was Johnny on the spot to helped so much I felt guilty.
Mountain Electronics is the place I recommend when asked about batteries or chargers, excellent service and communication make this place #1 choice in my book.
I place an order for six 18650 batteries late in the day on 12/18 and from my tracking information they will be here today. I thought if I had them after 12/25 I would be happy.
Let’s not forget about Lisa. She is also a very important part of what makes Mountain Electronics great.
Also,on my last order, I got a free flashlight.
All my components were packaged inside.
Sometimes RMM cannot get to emails and pm's right away but he always tries.
I ordered something last week and they already shipped. I never expected to even be completed until after the New Year. Lisa must've squeezed that in between wrapping gifts. LOL
