About tint…..

Very neutral. Regular “neutral white” is nowhere near as neutral as this looks to my eye.
After this neutrals look like warm.

OTOH: reds dont pop-out so much as with neutral or warm white (if you prefer it like that).

I got one older Nichia but it is WW and High CRI.

With this and white wall, I have to say it is hard to detect any tint. It is mostly just white.
Of course, depends on your eyes… I recently did a test, Im tetrachromatic.

In short:

I REALLY LIKE THE TINT!!! 8)

Thats bad news. High CRI was the main reason I ordered this light. I havent got my light yet.

Well I’ll throw in the contrarian position, because I don’t know what these other folks are going on about. I also only bought one and its great – works flawlessly, beautiful tint, great CRI. And yes I have other 219b emitters for comparison. Its so good that I went back and ordered a couple more, for some reason.

You folks who haven’t received yours yet can stop worrying – the light is great.

They will still make great gifts .

You can't compare the CRI of 2 different tints without being subjective, the 4500K is simply another tint (nominal by the way), the CRI is not, you just totally prefer the 4500K. I am saying this because I go some NVSW219B-V1 in 5000K  and it is unfair to call them as not having good CRI.

Please note that the light uses the 219B-V1 emitter, that started shipping last spring, it’s 5000K as opposed to previous 219B with 4500K.

It’s a more natural color temperature and the typical CRI is 93 (previous version is 92).

Ok, there was just some metal in wrong place behind the pill – working now.

Tested 4 side by side against white wall and there are some small tint differences. Some a bit warmer, some a bit cooler. You can tell when they are side by side but individually tested its hard to say which one is which…

I ordered one of these. Didn’t use a coupon (only knocked a few pennies off) as it meant I wouldn’t be able to use a few points I’d earned. The points took the price down to £3.40, happy enough with that. For once in my life I have more flashlights en route than I do knives…….!!!

I dont have an picture hoster to show the picture here in the BLF. And only Members are able to see it:…

Switch your “Input format” (below the comment box) to “Advanced” and you can drag and drop a picture in (make it small first if it’s huge)

You also need to add more carriage returns and otherwise fiddle a bit if you’re writing text, usually it’s not worth doing, but to post a pic, try that.

I think I’d be more likely to drill the clip as my chubs barely fit the button as it is.

Three Tanna leaves to give him life, nine to give him movement. But what if he eats the whole bag?

Wait, did you get that hole on one of the lights you rec’d from this group buy?
None of mine came like that. Nicely done, however it was done.

It’s doable — resembles the hole that CK drilled out last year with a ball mill

Yes, it was already in/on the light.

It’s funny. I bought a bunch of aftermarket clips and even tried a preon clip. I think I like the stock one best. Any one want some Cnq aftermarket clips?

Smile

Mine came after about 3 weeks. Very nice.

I agree but only partially.

IMO colors look “correct”. On the other hand, they are all a bit more towards “greyish” or something like that.
I think it may be because of higher K but I´m not sure.
Definitely looks a little different than with warmer white Nichias.

One of mine has almost completely “tintless” beam. I cannot honestly tell any colors from the bare beam when pointing at something white and this is new to me 8)

I have two lights, one is throwier than the other, the other is slightly warmer, i think, I will have to have a closer look where that comes from, but I do not expect very precise engineering on a 7 dollar light Party

Btw, this $7.71 Fasttech light has the exact same build as the gb light (but with a -not fake- Cree XP-E led): https://www.fasttech.com/products/1601/10008272/1741600-mini-pen-style-1...

I suggest everybody to send him a pm >_>.
This is just trolling, and from a senior member I expect better behaviour.
Due to the fact that this was on purpose, it agitates me even more than the other ignorant fools that just can’t read.

Ordered and received my first three lights. So impressed ordered three more. Now every time I order from GB I add one to the order. Perfect Xmas giveaways but will keep a couple for myself.
Can’t believe the quality for the price.

I am extremely sorry guys. I did that as a joke with no intention of irking anyone. I promise this won’t happen again. What I thought would be funny was not well received at all by some members. My most sincere apologies.

Never ever forget and forgive. Niwal**er new kid on the block trying to act tough.

I actually thought it was funny. I don’t really understand the anger over a stray few PMs over the course of a month. But others seem to get really upset about it. I have thought about it as a joke, but not every one gets my sense of humor- so I didn’t. On a side note, and not really related to this thread. I have gotten some really nasty comments on my Youtube channel over my humor. Jeeze.

I’m on this train with you all. Don’t worry about it. Its not that big of a deal. Others are going to be upset; so be it.

I actually see it the opposite as some of the commenters above. You did it on purpose, in jest, as a joke. It fell flat for some, but that’s how you meant it. The other PM replies from folks who couldn’t be bothered to read the original PM for instructions bother me more. That’s just laziness.
