The previous GBs did include EDCs like the V10A and iTP SA1 XP-G. But no harm including another one.
The branded lights are the only way to get rid of visible PWM. There is only 1 budget light that has no real visible PWM, and that's the UF-2100 which is at 1.7kHz (in one of our GBs surprisingly). A lot of people are complaining about PWM like in the DRY even at 200Hz. The iTPs are not really budget too...but still manageable for 90% of the folks i guess. iTP has approx 1kHz PWM.
ChibiM, the SA1 and V10A are 14500 based. SA1 is a bit big though...... but they are XP-Gs (ie !@#%!#@$ bright for a small light and as compared to the A3). Not as bright as Xeno E03, but that light i'd agree that it does not have a useful low-low.
I have the TK-703 (AAA, XP-E) as my keys' light, and even on a 10440 it is not nearly bright enough for my preference unless you do not use it outdoors. But most prob we can include the iTP A3. I have the iTP A1 and that is my preference as minimum brightness.
BTW - I won't make the call.....just see which one(s) Summer can get access to.
Another vote for EDC ^^ (and because I don't have enough money to spend   Well, $10-20, not more. +1 for ITP A3 or A2, JetBeam, Klarus...)
BTW: DD search function SUCKS, Really |( I searched for "ITP" and more than 1600 results was listed. You need to add "Search within title only" or something like that. And please, Summer, add more categories in "Flashlights" (no brand category for ITP, JetBeam, etc)
Searching for ITP in Sporting Goods category produced 121 results. Searching flashlight within the search result produced 33 results. The same 33 hits can be obtained by just searching FLASHLIGHT ITP in Sporting Goods category.
So is UniqueFire UF-2100, but it's still really UniqueFire. And then there is this... Kingston Olight SR50 http://www.dinodirect.com/led-flashlight-olight-sr50.html
So that Kingston probably means nothing.
And there is JieRui http://www.dinodirect.com/sunwayman-v10a-flashlight-140lm.html
