Would you buy a Manker QuinLan T01 AA battery extension tube?

yes!

I already sent an email to Manker with a link to this thread and inviting them to join in the conversation, hope to see them here soon…

BTW the emails were sent to the following addresses:
market@mankerlight.com
info@mankerlight.com

Does anyone know the address of the owner of Manker? If you could ask him/her to take a look at this thread I would appreciate it.

Thanks!
AlexGT

I would be also very interested in a 18650 battery tube for the T01, like a thrower version of the U11. Not sure why Manker hasn’t released such light.

2xAA sounds good too.

Will, I am pretty sure the T01 is a uni-body design so you can’t take the head off from the body, we can only use 14mm diameter batteries…

I would buy one and the tube, how is that for motivation!!

Manker is not good to make extension tubes, we must remember the BLF A6
After you try them, if they work I want one or two

Oops… totally forgot that part

Voted before I scrolled to the mock-up image, whoops. Canceled ‘not sure’ and changed to ‘yes’.

2*AA option would make me seriously consider purchasing the light, as it would fill another niche in the ’collection.

No. Completely changes the pocketability for my uses.

I’ve never seen the point of this light, the big head places it in 18650 category, so why not carry an 18650 torch? The Olight S15 plus extension tube is unbeatable in terms of output and efficiency, and is compact.

This is a good point….

Review of Quark AA2 and Caveman show at least equal efficiency and output, but S15 is more compact.

But they are tail only switch, much less friendly for me. S15 solid bargain.

It’s an extremely throwy AA/14500 flashlight with exceptionally high output on both AA or 14500.

The S15 is barely half the output and 1/7 the throw.

Very good!

Manker replied, unfortunately it’s not going to work :frowning:

“Thanks for your great interest on Manker high quality product.

After checked with our engineer, sorry to let you know T01 is not wide voltage drive flashlight, it didn’t support 2AA batteries to drive.

Thanks for your valuable email, we will consider to support wide voltage drive on future new product.

Best regards

Richard”

T01 is mine.

we have a solution now.

Does your solution work with existing T01s?

Ill bet it doesn’t

Hope is a great one, can’t wait to hear it! :sunglasses:
