I hate Banggood… I promised not to buy any flashlights for the next two month.
Preordered one of each :zipper_mouth_face:
Edit: I already have a Black Water Kite al and it came with a black 10180 battery with 100mAh (I guess it will be the same that you will get with this Astrolux M01). I also ordered some of these and even though they are rated at 70mAh they last longer and the light seems to be a little bit brighter with those. They are cheaper at Gearbest…
I have the CooYoo-something, and there is no protection in that I think, as I’ve ended up with one battery totally flat in that… but then again, I ordered 5 spares for $1.50 each or something like that at Gearbast, so not a huge deal. I’m considering getting one of these with the Nichia…
About all 10180 that I know: batteries are always not protected and flashlight not low voltage protection. All are the same: DQG, Coyoo, Veleno, Astrolux…. Is not a problem.
For this price, M01; Stainless steel, rechargeable, battery included…. Is a really good offer.
It’s very hard for me to say no to a Nichia flashlight. I was wondering, should we make a list of Nichia high CRI flashlights? Or would that cause some of us to spend even more than we need to???
Since the battery is not protected and the flashlight does not cut off below a certain voltage, is there any cue as to when the battery is due to be charged? A noticeable dimming? Or do you take your chances on running the battery down too far and damaging it?
While it is possible that they used one of the lower binned lower CRI versions, I doubt they used it because the main draw of having the 219B is the high CRI version. But without knowing exactly what 219B they used, it is technically possible they used the lower CRI version.
