Paducha Built trains using LED head lights.

Trains coming out of the Paducah Built are using two LED headlights. The other two called ditch lights are still incandescent. I’m not sure why they bothered. Engines have to be heavy to work typically 500000 pounds. They also have six 750 horsepower electric motors run by a deisel engine. It seems regular lights are 800 watts and I expect they are 8000 hour bulbs light used in traffic lights. My camera was unable to handle all the light however there is a terrible photo here. This will be removed when I get a better one. Explore | Flickr

I found the bulb looks like 350 watt or about 35000 lumen. These can survive boiling water. I’m getting one for my bicycle. http://www.evansgroup.net/par-56-locomotive-led-headlight.html
