Well if it si really waterproff that would be great.
Before several months I bough one “diving light” from the same seller and from about same price, Keygos S1 (or S2, I forgot).
On first dive of 25m there was no problem, it flooded on second dive, 20-25 meters. And it apparently flooded through the head.
And this light is obviously withdrawn from ebay market, it appeared on manafont now, but there is no mention of “diving” in the specs.
So, I dont know if this is similar “trial and error” attempt, or they really improved something…
Keygos has some nice flashlights, but it appears is not very serious brand…
For diving lights I would go to XTAR or similar lights (if qwwe are talking about budget lights), very competitive prices.
Truth in advertising? I have as much faith in the 100m depth ratings (150psi) as I do the lumens ratings. 1400 lumens using a single 18650? Not believing it. I would not trust this thing in anything deeper than a swimming pool.
It is kinda nice looking and for $38 it’s kinda hard to go wrong.
If someone has the Keygos S3 can you measure the tail cap current draw? I would really like to hear how many amps it draws on High.
As far as failing, I have many dive lights and with all of them I ensure that the o-rings have proper silicone grease and are tightened down snug. With all my lights (mostly Chinese) not one has failed except my $200+ Mb-sub (leaked Alkaline). I hope this helps.
