flashlight lubrication

I wiped off most of the lubricant on the tailcap threads, what do i replace it with?
Do i need conducting grease?

There’s a couple of threads on the best grease to use. Personally, I like inox. I haven’t found anything it doesn’t make smoother. I use it on all my fishing reels, even on the drag. Improves them no end. Always carry a small bottle in my tool kit. It’s also great on firearms. The fine oil and the heavy Teflon grease both have their uses.

I use Superlube on my lights, works very well and is pretty cheap for a decent sized tube.

I saw these jars of Lanox mx4 with lanolin at a factory I worked at… Took a small amount and been using forever ! I saw on the jar it was made by inox …… Good Stuff !!!
