Is this torch any good ?

Im looking to replace my TrustFire R5-A3 and this looks similar in size but what can anyone tell me and also what sort of rechargeable batteries does it take and where could i get them ? or is it worse than my current torch and should just keep looking ?

I think the r5a3 can do better than 230 lumens on a 14500. Isn’t a 16340 kind of an odd size?

There quite common, the 16340
I like the M11r, runs good on a cr123, and has a little more oomph with an rcr123.
The V11r is a better choice if you want more output as it’ll do 500 lumens on an rcr123, similar in size with more light control

That Sunwayman is rated at 230 lumens on turbo. The newer R5-A3 with an XP-G emitter should hit that easily when ran with a 14500 battery. The R5-A3 will probably throw better also, since the M11R uses an XM-L emitter. I’m a big fan of the XP-G emitters in pocket lights. If I were you I’d just keep the R5 and run 14500’s.
