I’m looking for a very very deep reflector flashlight!

Which is the best you know?

SolarForce Skyline I has a very deep reflector, nice throw too! but I think it has been discontinued, The Ultrafire 802 has a similar deep reflector

The Skyline is just amazing! Do you think a trower flashlight is better with a deep reflector or a big magnifier lens? What makes the difference?

im not sure whats better but the sunwayman t40cs throws better then alot of lights with its large diameter reflector and its not very deep

If you want throw, go for a big diameter. Reflector depth only has a minor influence on throw .

Try get a trustfire x7 and change the sst50 to an xml u3.
Running at 4.5 amps in that 75mm reflector should be a killer.

Deep reflectors usually gives you a brighter and narrower spill (better than a wider dimmer spill in my book).

Interesting article. What do you think of using a TIR optic for throw? Something like a 5 or 8 degree.

I cant remember the name but I’m sure someone does.

It was something like -

“Lumens Power - Search and Destroy”

I know it wasn’t that but something similar, it was massive and has a diamond pattern in the reflector.

I have a Brinyte MXL-C5 that has only a 40mm diameter reflector but is approx 70mm deep.
I think there are some C8 type flashlights with similar.
