The battery has nearly constant capacity up to 1A, this is a good performance.

Conclusion

The battery has a good capacity, but the voltage can not match the best batteries.
I will rate it as good for a cheap battery.

Is it just me, or are the batteries a little beaten up? They look well enough packaged, but slightly dented at the end.

Nice review as usual, HKJ, thanks.

That must be you, remember that the bottom has the protection PCB and the PCB is slightly slanted on one of the batteries.

Thanks for the test Smile

Not bad, but not as good as i thought they would be.

Cheers
Matt

Using an Olight S10, I managed 1 hour and 11 minutes of runtime on high using the Yezl’s, compared to around 55 minutes runtime as tested in an Olight S10 review, so, although the Yezl’s don’t come out on top in testing, they do seem to perform very well in use.

In some lights you will get longer runtime, if the LiIon battery voltage is slightly low. I.e. a good battery with high voltage will not have as long runtime as a cheap battery with lower voltage.

Compared to the other 16340 batts reviewed by HKJ, I think it did great as it looks to have the 2nd highest capacity (more than the AW) of the reviewed 16340s behind the Eagletac.

But shouldn’t this be expected (longer runtime with Yezl vs. AW) since you measured the Yezl with a higher capacity than the AW (per your review charts)?

I suppose it all depends in the light used, and how much current it pulls.

You are correct in this case, but as I wrote above more capacity is not always the same as longer runtime, it depends on the light/driver.

Ok, I get it. Thanks for the clarification.

Where can you buy these? I’ve searched around and so far turned up “sold out” everywhere I looked… Sad
