*closed*gords's post apocolyptic give away*closed* we have a winner!

Give away closed 11.01am gords mean time. I’ll run random.org later till we get a winner that meets the 150 post criteria. Good luck everyone and thanks for participating.

Edit :- winning post #52 gets the prize. Congratulations Dale, pm me your address and flaming preference and I’ll get the light shipped out.

Ok, this has been a while in the making, heck only don stretched his out longer.

Anyway, I recieved the give away keygos m10

Review of said light.

It turned up with this emitter.

<a href=Photo Storage target=_blank><img src=http://i185.photobucket.com/albums/x48/gords1001/IMAG0542.jpg border=0 alt=>

So I carried out this mod.

The light currently looks stock and comes with the 18650 adapter.

<a href=Photo Storage target=_blank><img src=http://i185.photobucket.com/albums/x48/gords1001/IMAG0546.jpg border=0 alt=>

So that’s the light, the thread will run till I’m conscious on New years day, entrants must have accumulated 150 posts by the time the give away closes, and its one post per entrant, any after your first if they come up on random.org will be cancelled and the program run till we find a legitimate winner.

Once the winner is found, I will pm them, if they wish, the light can be flamed, if not it will be posted as is.

I have tested the light and the driver is set for my favorite mode (ramping) instructions are linked in the build thread. Please be aware, you need cells that can supply 3.7a+ for max output, I have used both king kongs and keeppower 3400mah cells and un-protected Samsung 2800mah cells successfully.

My version is one of my favorite lights, so I wanted to share.

Good luck everyone and merry Christmas.

Edited for clarification.

Also, any questions/chatter/criticism, please add them to this thread

And keep the give away thread clear other than entries.

Edited 22/12/12 ok, turbobb and johnnymac have thrown their hats in the ring, I’m slightly nervous, but who else thinks that if either one of them gets the light, they have to do a review? Or is it just my vanity?

Count me in and Merry Christmas to you and your family!
