I actually placed the first bid for the light… But yes a WTS would have been better for BLF.

flash.light, can I gently suggest that you take it down a notch? This isn’t the first time you’ve had an itchy finger with the accusations, and — just my opinion, here — you’re out of line. A number of people have posted links to ebay auctions here.
This is a friendly place, and slinging vitriol around doesn’t help.

Who are you to call people out like this? Its a forum, a collaborative, why must you be so negative? I have yet to see one instance that would cause me to raise an eyebrow here, regarding members that is….jeez man
I don’t think it is that big of a deal. People “flip” things all the time.
I agree with your statement. I dont agree with bringing it here. If you respect the place and the members than we should do our best to keep this as far as possible. although sh-t will happen.
TBH I think auctioning it off is more fair than a WTS thread.
Another forum I am apart of has a section for auctions, I think we should try that. Then the stuff would stay in the community.
I can gaurantee you a flashaholic will buy it, and I'm hoping that person will be me. ;) I could always use a nice baseball bat with a moonlight mode.

Maybe I should've used the other forum (of which I'm a member) and auctioned it off, but I've always used this method and it's worked fine for me since 2002. Besides, with the bidding having already started, it's too late now anyway. I could cancel the bids and end it early, but that would upset more people than it would please. If I would've listed it under FS, I would have no idea what to sell it for anyway. This adds the element of 'fun' to it, and who knows - maybe a new flashoholic/modder will be made after the buyer upgrades this thing. This might just generate a new member or two as well.
Come to think of it, on the other forums I visit a thread like this would be deleted and a stern warning would be sent by one of the Mods or Admin to the thread starter.
I will add I love the ebay auction, it lets you get the most money possible for it and allows more people to see it and bid on it. (And also gives me a chance at sniping it)
