I reflow mounted 2x of these side by side on a star as a temporary solution for my modded small police tactical light.

They are configured in parallel and are direct drive, running off a single 18650. They only pull 350mA each (so 0.7 amps with both) and put out about 100 lumens each.
But what has blown me away is the most amazing natural tint I’ve ever seen from an LED.
I’ve never understood most people’s fascination with natural colours from an LED until now. It makes the CW X-RE and X-ML look absolutely horrible (way too blue).
