looking for a C cell flashlight

Can anyone recommend a light that takes one or two C cells?

How about a 2 C Maglite ?

Seen here in a Niteyes stretch holster .

Of course , my 2C mag now sports 3 cr123 batteries and a 5 cell halogen bulb ...

Or you could always upgrade an incan Mag. If you get a 3C Mag and drop in a Malkoff XM-L2 drop-in, you will have a fairly compact C cell light with some pretty big lumens.

Go grab one of those Defiant 500 lumen throwers at Home Depot for $23 right now. 3 C cells, 500 lumens, HD2010 class throw.

Lumapower the Mentor, can run on one or two C cells

I have used C cell Maglites for decades. I have never had one fail. I have an old 3C beside my bed and a year or so ago put in a TERRALUX LED UPGRADE BULB 140 LUMENS TLE-6EXB. It was a significant improvement.

I have never had the need for more flashlight than my Maglites, both AA and C cells. Unless you just want something newer or exotic I recommend the 2C Maglite, and consider the Terralux LED upgrade bulb. They are offered on ebay as well as http://www.batteryjunction.com/tle-6exb.html.

I have a 2C Maglite with Malkoff’s new 270 lumen XP-G drop-in. And I have to admit that it’s a pretty nice light. It’s no XM-L. But it still kicks out quite respectable light for taking a hike at night. Not to mention that it’s still a fairly small and lightweight light.

Of course, if you want more, you can always step up to the XM-L2. This costs more, but kicks out ALOT more light. Of course, it will require a Li-Ion battery (18650/26650) if you want to run it in a 2C light. Or you can upgrade to 3C and run it on NiMH.

the link you share is good, awesome product, but it has 5 C cells.

Field and Stream 2c flashlight from SportsAuthority is $9 and its a 120 lumens. I’m here in Oahu and couldn’t resist. Decent throw, looks like an Xpe in there maybe a Q5.
Reverse clickie, and gitd tailcap. I like that there’s a rubber bezel cover

If 3 cells are OK, I recommend the Costco FEIT Electric which is $25 for two.

Same as this one from Amazon:
