Lithium ion charger

I have plan to buy battery charger for power tool, 18V, lithium ion batteries 2P5S, total theoretical capacity 6800mAh, actually I will make a package of 10 Panasonic 18650B cells. As I am quite confused with discussion on this forum about chargers, I will appreciate very simple answer, what to buy? up to 100$ is acceptable.

Power tool packs have some battery management system integrated, you usually cant just charge them with any other charger. Also, -B cell is not suitable for most power tools. They usually need high power cells (IMR).

I had NiCd battery pack of 1.4 mAh, and that was unconvenient for my job. So I need grater authonomy, and will replace the NiCd with Lithium ion of haigher capacity. Why the “B” cell is not suitable for power tools?
Thanks

Power tools really like amps, lots and lots of amps, IMR will have lower capacity but charge and discharge a lot faster safely.

Basically driving your drill harder

I replaced two of my small 12V drill battery packs with 2250mAh Panasonic CGR18650CH cells (old ones are LS-18650BB rated 1200mAh), so far good & powerful, charge using original charge cradle without problem.

Panasonic recommends that max discharge current of 18650B should be 2C(6,4A). Having two in parallel will be 12A. With 18V, will equals aprox 200W of power, I believe will be enough for screwdriver.
