Wondering if anyone can identify the model of this torch and if there are any reviews. I bought this from Ebay however I believe Fast Tech has it also. The etching on the Ebay site said Ultrafire but mine said Mily Fire DT-1011. I cannot find any Ultrafire model number. It is stainless steel. It uses an 18650 battery but also comes with a 3 AAA holder so you have that option as well. Advertisement said it was a Q5 led with 500-700 lumens but I believe it is about 300. It is a 3 mode Hi - Med - Strobe on a side clicky. There is only one join which is at the head end. The tail end is fully sealed so tail stands really well. What I find interesting is the lense. It seems to have been partly drilled in the centre (see pictures). It’s not a zoomie. Will give some beam shots tonight however I don’t have the equipment for amp measurements.
Any thoughts would be appreciated.
Identifying the model is usually a non-issue. Even the make can change from week to week. many of these lights are made in the same place and get different brands on them based on who orders them. Then they get cloned or copied and rebranded that way. More than likely, it’s not an ‘official’ UltraFire product.
Your right, it doesn’t really matter and yes I understand they change all the time. It’s not a bad flashlight just interested to see if any other reviews out there and it helps having a model number to search or maybe someone else in the group can give some other feedback on it.
