17mm single li-ion boost driver

I’m working on a new project and need to find 17mm driver that can boost single li-ion battery voltage range to approx. 6 V at 1A with reasonable efficiency. Single mod driver would be fine…

Any suggestions ?

Off topic,

I think the standard flashlights need to get to much larger volumes, these 17mm PCBs are really limiting in very good designs for drivers.

True in some cases, but most time driver size is limited by flashlight format.

Perhaps I’m getting blind :expressionless:

Any experiences with this one ?

I can only see that driver boosting to 3.something a, not six, what are you driving?

FT does not specify output voltage, but driver should boost above supply voltage and high enough to maintain set current. Actually this driver looks like typical LM3410 circuit.

I’m not going to reveal (yet) what led it’s suppose to drive, but it’s one of the most recent models from very well known manufacturer  And I expect very interesting results 0:)

I have one on order. Once I recieve it I may take a little while before I review it though.

Great news… I’m in no hurry as I still have to decide which host should I use (looks like deep pill is needed for this driver)

If it’s any good it will sell out never to be seen again. It would be a lot better without the separate battery board as well.
