A friend had ordered one from me after I talked these up as being driven between 3 and 4 amps. I took it out of the package and played with it today when I was about to ship it to him.
Friends, as has been reported by others, it is nowhere near that range! I don’t recommend this unit without modding it. It is probably 2ish amps or so. It is noticeably less bright than my Inlt-outdoors U2 unit (still my best drop-in). In fact, it falls behind a number of the T6 units I have laying around. Really disappointed. Tint isn’t even great and their are artifacts in the beam.
