Hello from New York City!

Just wanted to say “Hi” to all. My main interest in lights is for bike riding.
Some posters here may recognize my username already in another forum
for bikes. I’m currently using a generic P7 flashlite in front and a Planetbike
Superflash Turbo in the back. I live and work in the New York City area;
most roads/bike paths have street lighting. So my main concern is being
seen by other road users; drivers, peds, bikers going the wrong way, etc.

It's nice to meet you, 1nterceptor!

Welcome to the famkly, 1nterceptor! We have lots of avid bikers here that can help you find some awesome lights that will make your P7 light a thing of the past. Safe riding!!

Welcome to BLF, 1nterceptor! :party:

Welcome to the forum interceptor. Even a straight emitter swap will yield improvements in both run time and visibility.

I got my flashlight from Costco 2 years ago. I think the head is fixed to the body,
I don’t think any mod is possible:

But I do have a P60 host that I got w/ a red led. I was thinking
of using it as a rear light somehow.

Also, I just took delivery of a XM-L T6 headlamp/bike light,
will post a video review in a bit.

Welcome to BLF! I am trying to get back into cycling after being away for years.
