Anybody have bought items off ‘geekbuying.com’ ? I’ve been keeping tabs on these andriod sticks for awhile now and they finally made a quadcore so I jumped the gun. Only problem was I only found it on this website first. The others didn’t carry them yet. So instead of logging in and using the account there. U used instant paypal option to buy. On top of that I didn’t bother saving the page, since I rarely save any ‘confirmination’ orders page or anything since it’s well documented on paypal.
Anyways 1 1/2 week later I go and ask about my order…. Once again the ‘stupid’ answers again. Anyways later I did find those confirmation letters (stupid gmail filters bug?) Anways, They are shipped a full 1 week later. I ordered 26th and they shipped it on the 3rd. I mean this isn’t ‘traders & brokers’ but I feel cheated that they are 1 week behind schedule.

Sorry if my rant offended many, but out of the 20+ items I’ve ordered they never appeared on the anything and if they do it’s already in America. Using ebay ‘track’ feature, and this is my first time using International Parcel Tracking. My guess was always, it takes 2 full weeks in China and a week in customs at most and 2-5 days as US mail.
Just signed up to let you know how bad the service was from Geekbuying. Purchased a Mobile phone from them end of June. Told me they didn’t have any left. So changed to another phone in early July and have spent the last two months mucking around trying to get it fixed. It was DOA and I sent it back for repair. I now have it back but they wont refund my postage costs as outlined in their warranty and it has stopped working again.
Stay away from Geekbuying.
My item eventually came. But already too late, they never bother to ‘respond’ back on my paypal dispute, I think they couldn’t prove shipping somehow. So I got a free android stick. IT works and packaging is great. But I feel guilty now. Somehow I think many of these seller really have a hard time understanding english and western style selling (selling out of stock items, slow shipping or returned shipping only to ship it faster? costing more money?) I was gonna send them the money back, but figure I’ll just keep this since I’ve been gypt so many times in the past.
I bougt an android stick from geekbuying, pay for device and DHL fast shipping, i ask for tracking number and they sent me a number for tracking, after 2 weeks the tracking number still dosent work, and ask again , and they said ” you need to pay 37$ more or we ship it air mail” i dont want to pay, and want to refund, and they didnt refund! i dispute paypal, i am still waiting for refund from paypal, and they said ” back your dispute and we will refund your money ))) They lie, according to eye…
I had the same problem they lied about shipping. So i sent dispute, they lost the tracking number or it was invalid so I got my item and I got a paypal refund. Def. not doing business with them again.
