I am looking for an SC52 cool white, but have only been able to find new ones for $63 or more. I would be fine with a used one that functions properly, and I don’t mind if it is a bit “scruffy” looking as long as it is reasonably priced.

Thanks for the suggestions, but I am trying to find a cheaper alternative. That is why I am open to used SC52’s. I just missed one on the Wanted To Sell yesterday :_( .

I think the design of these will lend itself to not looking terrible if “scruffy”. Some lights look worse with any scratches, so one endeavours to keep it looking shiny and new.

I think some "battle scars" are nice to have on a flashlight.

My SC52 has some spots where the finish is no longer perfect. It's still working perfectly though.

Don't get me wrong, shelf queens are nice, they just don't have a worthy history though... better to have a queen with a story :)

Now I have this SC52, and a used D25A clicky from a forum member on the way, so I should have the one AA compact EDC category pretty well covered :bigsmile: .

I couldn’t resist the Olight i3 for $14.99 in the Illumination Supply yard sale, so I added it as well. I have definitely been on an EDC kick recently. This obsession could get expensive, but I guess I don’t have to tell most of you that :slight_smile: .
