What percent of your chargers charge to 4.2V?

My first charger charges to 4.15V, so i recently bought another one (ML102) so i can fully charge for the odd occasion i would need the most battery life, and it charges to 4.11V. I opened a fasttech ticket for it, but it got me wondering how common this phenomenon is

All but one, and that one charges to 4.19V. That one is a Miller. The rest overcharge.

Both mine charge to 4.2v. The cheap Trustfire TR-001 and a accucell 8150. The TR-001 will over charge if left in the charger after the lights turn green. It seems to trickle charge after terminating which is bad news for li-ions. :~

I can leave mine oncthe charger for hours after it goes green and all I will get is the same 4.12v as when I pull it off as soon as it turns green. Icam looking at getting the enedepot lithium/lifepo4 charger soon

Everything apart from my hobby charger (IMAX B8+) charge to 4.19 or 4.18V, including the Nitecore Intellicharger v2.

I set my hobby charger to 4.23V if I really want that extra few mAh, but most of the time, I intentionally undercharge to 4.18V.

I'd rather 20 extra cycles over 20mAh/cycle.

generalization or do you actually get 20 more cycles?

I like to think that I do.

Both my Nitecore i2 and i4 charge to 4.2v, sometimes they get 4.21v

Charge 4.2V cells to 4.1V and you can at least double the cell life…

I have an older Miller 102 (Version 3), which charged up to 4,16, the new version 5 stoped at 4,13V. My XTAR WP2 II stopped at 4,17V, Jetbeam i4 pro 4,18V and my Nitecore i4 V2 at 4,16V.

This $4.70 2x18650 charger charges to 4.2+ volt:

2xML-102 4.18 and 4.21V
2xML-101 4.17 and 4.18V
Xtar WP2 4.17V
2x Xtar MP1 4.17 and 4.21V
USB chargers with tp4056: 2x4.21V, 4.20V, 3x4.18V, 4.17V, 2x4.16V, 4.12V

Some cheapie chargers I had overcharge to 4.24-4.25V, but termination current is another factor as well.

I have one 4.35V. Supposed to be 4.2.
I don’t use it.

My I4 charges to 4.2v. A 4 Sevens single bay charger charges to 4.13v iirc, which I find a little low.

at 1A my Xtar WP2 II charged my pannies to 4.25V today... was a little alarmed..

Yeah, mine seems to hit in the 4.18 range fairly consistently. I can’t remember the last time it hit 4.2

I hope its just once..

When I checked them first.. they were at about 4.21 so I thought that the green lights would turn on pretty soon,

to really finish the charge, but after a while I double checked and they were at 4.25..

My other cells then charged again to 4.21 until I check, but took them off directly, didnt want them to go as high as the first pair.

all of mine are 4.16v-4.24v

i have about a dozen different trustfire, ios, dx etc chargers

my hobby charger is a piece of crap and the voltage has been weird ever since i bought it from hobby king (their return policy is sh^t, never buying from them again)

my xtar wp 6 II does around 4.18-4.22… but im not impressed at how cheap this charger feels for $32

someday, someone will do it correctly and for a good price

I just upgraded to a XTAR VP1. It charged 3 sets of 18650 cells, and 2 sets of 18500 Sanyo cells to a consistent 4.19v each time. I pulled them off of the charger as soon as I realized they were done (within 10 minutes).
