Anyone any idea who actually makes this cell?

The previous model of this battery (18700) was a Sanyo cell underneath the Xtar wrapping.
Panasonic since the buyout but still in the original Sanyo factories. XTAR adds their protection circuit and wrapper.

I have used the original version (18700) with good results but wanted to know about the new version before I bought any.
