My post #36.

HTML saved for when it gets creamed and I get banned!

(Edit: Posted this before I saw trooplewis' post)

Rich

I don't think they will ban you for anything you said there.

The "Budget Lights" forum there is pretty inactive. I don't think many of the CPF members want to be seen there, might give them a bad reputation.

Maybe they'll just delete the post.

I bet something will be done or said by the end of the day.

Foy'ed bezels?

Gee, I can't believe you actually made me sign up on that board again.

Now I have to do something stoopid to get kicked off again.

... oh, wait, I probably don't have to! Just wait until the next server crash obliterates my account...

Her Highnesses backup system is well known for such things.

No way am I going through the hassle of signing up there again. How about a synopsis or cut and paste job

synopsis: us cheapskates vs. them rich-ass snot-nosed kids.

Simple as that.

... and it seems our objections are far more profound; but that doesn't have to mean much in the People's Republik of Kandlepower dogmatism.

Thanks! Screw em’

You can still link to the site and read it without joining, no?

Not the 'Budget Flashlights ' section.........and I couldn't be bothered renewing my account for that (dubious) pleasure.

I couldn't figure out if he's bought an L2 and an L2P or if he just hasn't got the slightest idea what he's talking about.

Either way, if his has "issues" as he claims then it must be a one of defective item as no one else has "issues".

I just can't be bothered with the idiots over their anymore, so I wont post.

How much is a Surefire 6P ? He seems to think they cost a lot less than I'm sure they do.

I walked into Fry's about a year ago and paid $89 for my 6P LED. It was rated at 120 lumens.

Foy

They have become less expensive lately.

Amazon sells the incandescent, non-crenellated base model for $44.95. Still, this is twice as expensive as an L2P - minus the extra bonuses like hard anodizing and 18650 bore diameter.

That's why I bailed out of CPF after just a few posts. BLF has a better "balance" of opinion and the members here are a little more open to options both expensive and budget-minded. Thanks for rolling out the welcome mat... :)
