I am currently deciding between the two. I have 3 nichia219s not in use and want to build a triple with a 20mm carlco optic. I think a few people have already done it but there isn’t much information.
I believe these 2 are the most compact out of the typical tube style ones which is why they are on the top of my list. I hear the s6/xiaozhi can have trouble with fatter cells? I use the protected panasonic 3400s from fasttech and I believe those are fatter which is why I am leaning towards the s3. But the pocket clip on FT that people have been using only works with the s6 and not the s3.
Anyone have anything to say between the 2? Also any input from those that have installed a triple into these 18650 lights?
