Geez - Supply & Demand

Due to the logistics issue in Asia, looks like local li on batt prices are skyrocketing! Just saw this on my local craigslist. No affiliation BTW.

Laptop batteries are still cheap.

CAD 21…. for #%*fire

Black market li-ion! :open_mouth:

When JAYCAR (Australia) wake up to the difficulty of getting Lithium batteries you will need an armoured truck to carry enough money to buy them,

Notice the plain blue wrap whatever 2200mah

In the U.K. I’ve just bought four of these - SAMSUNG ICR 18650-30B for £25 that’s about $10 each.

Bargain…. I need some 18650s quick, found Nitecore 3100s only £13.95 each ($22.50) x4 umm pass!

I have 6 Nitecore 3100s great cells, I’d buy more if I could afford them, I got 2 TrustFire flames from Manafont and the Samsungs from ebay - ecoluxshop , 2 days from ebay 3 weeks from Manafont.

That’s me stocked up for the foreseeable futyre.

New pulls from laptop packs, average of around $2.50 each. Panasonic NCR 2900s and 4.3v Samsung ICR 28As.

What do you plan to do with 80+ 18650s?

Just curious if people are buying them up with plans of resale at high prices.
