WTB: Apex/Solarstorm 5T6 broken or spares. Esp Handle and Battery tube

Hi everyone,

I’ve been a lurker on this great forum and tinkering away on my flashlights for quite a while now. Fantastic place for inspiration.
Currently just finishing a fairly involved mod of my Apex 5t6 NW which I’ll probably post up at some point soon.
Anyway I’d really like to make a version of this light which runs off a beefy external lipo power pack and I need a second body of the light so I don’t have to destroy the battery capable version of the light as it is now.

I really don’t want to buy a whole new light just for this so if anyone has any spare/damaged/scuffed or otherwise dust gathering parts of the Apex/Solarstorm/etc 5t6 flashlight, with particular interest in the body, tailcap and handle, I’d love to take them off your hands.

Alternatively if anyone knows a source for factory seconds or spare parts or some other way to get my hands on what I need, again without having to buy a whole light and pay for and be stuck with 5x CW T6 emitters I’d really appreciate it.

It’s probably a long shot but hey if I can’t find them here then I won’t anywhere :slight_smile:

When are you looking at getting one? It’s just that, I am looking at offloading this light (NW version), but I won’t be back in Australia until mid-December.

If you can wait until then, I will be able to ship it out to you. Otherwise, my sister is also looking after the house, so, maybe with my directions, she maybe able to find the light, package it appropriately and send it out to you.

Price is US$50 (negotiable) plus including shipping costs.

edit: Air Mail via Australia Post to Ireland is going to cost AU$18.20, plus packaging material. If you buy it from lightmalls.com, they’re around US$60. I can only go as low as US$50 for the whole lot.
