[WTB/WTT/WTS] Pulsars Classifieds - Farka F8 v5 + X-Drive 1.8a + SoloStove

Noticed I have a bunch of classified post. I will try to consolidate all of them here, and use this tread for future classifieds.

Reply #1 will contain items I want to sell.

Reply #2 will contain items I want to buy/trade for.

Right now at this moment I do not have much free cash to buy the items I am looking for, but will be willing to possibly trade.

Will be updating the WTS list later tonight. Need to go through the stock and see what can be cleared out. Time to do some cleaning

As always, I will consider any trade or cash offer. Worst thing I can do is say no

XinTD x3 ww mint condition, spare battery tube. Spare battery tube has one end that is not cut very square but still works

$30 - Shipped CONUS

Farka F8 v5 near mint, very minor anno wear. Think I still have the box and two bezels and other assorted orings and stuff. Lanyard ring not included.

$30 Firm - shipped CONUS

X-Drive 1.8a buck driver for laser diodes. Prewired with 17mm round contact board. Never used. Will not fit the shallow driver cavity in my heat sink. They say these are the best drivers available.

That is the cost of a X-Drive without leads or 17mm round contact board. Just spend $30 on it, need to recoup some funds

$25 - Shipped CONUS

Don’t have money at the moment for any of the lights but I didn’t want to say congratulations on the engagement. DesiSmileys.com

A clip like this? It works on Solarforce and Surefire

LOL!! Yeah, I have literally fought back and forth with myself, since the day you listed it.

..ah finally! The endless battle is over, and I prevailed!

If DD is direct drive that’s not considered a good thing to do with laser diodes. I have killed two diodes from testing them really quick like that.

Yeah, lets just hope you didn’t LED the diode. A lotfof the times when you kill them they still emit a very dim light, like a LED, but they wont lase. DD a LD is a very bad idea and has high risks. A PSU is the proper way to test a diode and Jordan doesn’t send dead diodes so there really is no reason to test the diode once you get it.

No flash is needed. If its over powered then it could A) protect itself or B) just die. I’d suggest finiahing it and keeping it. You only need glasses to burn and use inside. You can use it outside for sky pointing all you want without glasses (just make sure it doesn’t reflect off anything in the sky like wires trees etc…..) burning gets old and quick. Only reason I have safety glasses is to show friends what it does and to meter my lasers. Kinda a waste if money since I personally don’t use them to burn anymore

$90 is a real deal.  Would sell fast on LPF.  DD at that low a voltage shouldn't hurt that diode at all.

I won't part with mine unless I get something more powerful.  It's unlike any other tool I have and I will keep it around just in case.  Plus, if laws change, acquiring one in the future may turn out to be more difficult and expensive.

Pulsar,

FYI, you can buy the A001 head from Nailbender's site.  It's sold with the SS strike bezel, but you can buy the flat SS bezel from his site too.

A001 head is Type II anodized.  Never seen it in stainless.  SF bezels come in stainless.

Wasn't aware there was a special-edition all-SS version.  Just discovered it on an old CPFMP thread.  You might want to expand your search to over there as well.  Good luck in your search!

Why wait on the X3 group buy when you can get an original with t3 6a1 tint, and qlite driverfor the same price shipped from the US?

Added my original Solo Stove to the list. Had it up on Spirit Burner for a while now, but they are mostly into older pressure stoves and other classic stoves. Thought maybe someone here would like to add it to their survival gear for almost half price

Solo Stove is sold pending funds on CPFMP

Made an account on laser pointer forums, and listed the X-Drive there. Now I just need to be able to pull myself away from that forum once its sold and not get sucked in.

What size/footprint bare MCPCBs are you looking for? I have quite a pile of them built up...
