Looking at the traces it seems to be in series yet the D3 isn't. It looks like it goes D1, D2, D4, D6 and then D5. I can't see where the trace for the D3 is it looks like it goes into the screw hole.
Well anyway I also see some empty spots on the driver labeled R5, R6, and R7 with a 000 resistor in the R4 slot and one of the two Q1 slots. What could I do to add a little power to this mod?
Here is a picture of the tiny pill. For now I'm just going to de-dome it. despite the thin pill it does transfer heat to the body of the flashlight fairly well. I might try and find a way to add some heatsinking to it as well.
