I haven’t ordered batteries from China/HK for a while - do they still have export limitations on batteries?
Does it depend on packing or is it a complete ban?
I’ve bought many Chinese batteries over the years (I’m talking mainly about button and 9v batteries now but also AA/AAA), and they were fine as long as I was willing to replace them often. In total they were cheaper than the Duracell/Energizer/GP batteries I could buy locally, but they required being replaced 4-5 times more. This is okay with me, but when I buy batteries for my parents or other people it’s not taken as “these batteries are cheap” but rather as “these batteries are junk”.
So, is there any certain brand that produces consistently long lasting batteries button, 9v, AA and AAA batteries?
The cost should be at most about 50c per AA/AAA battery, 1$ per button battery and 3$ per 9v battery, otherwise I would just buy them from a known brand at a local store.
