WTB Floody P60 Drop-In (Sportac Triple XP-G2 or similar)

Hi,
I’m looking for a good quality, but still budget, floody P60 drop-in. I have been looking at the Sportac Triple XP-G2, which looks very nice, and I wanted to check if anyone here has one for sale before I order a new one. I am also interested in similar models, in roughly the same price range. (As long as it has great flood and high lumens.) I will be using it with a Solarforce L2N, and a single NCR18650B.

I need the dropin to be shipped to Sweden. Any advice are appreciated.

Are you only looking at triples? How about a high powered single XML2 with orange peel reflector?

This, International Outdoor has some of the best P60 dropins.

I just bought one from here a couple of weeks ago, but looks like they are out of stock for the moment.

I actually already have a “ALXM2” from Intl-Outdoor, although with a SMO reflector, which I am very happy with. I was looking for something a little more floody (if possible). I also have a Solarforce XML-U2 with OP, and I don’t think there is too much flood in this one either.

Too bad they are out of stock, or else I would have to order one straight away! (15% sitewide today only.) :frowning:

I was under the impression that a triple XPG would have a lot better flood than a single XML. I am however new to this, any advice pointing me in the right direction is appreciated. I might have to go with another ALXM2, as it is very affordable. :slight_smile:

Drop in is good nice and bright, pure floody, but the Solarforce host head no longer screws all the way down like it used to on the 18650 generic drop in, wondering if it would if I’d got the Surefire version.
(like my IS triple nichia in a P1d a lot more.)

Hmm, thats weird. Can’t seem to find any information about that it shouldn’t screw all the way down. May I ask you where you bought this nichia dropin, and what it cost? Thanks! :slight_smile:
