Not being a fan of reverse clickies, I wanted to try fitting the forward clicky switch from a defunct Coast AAA into the Lumintop Tool AAA switch housing.
Initially, things looked promising as the Lumintop switch has a threaded aluminum retainer with notches. However, when I tried to remove the retainer - it wouldn’t budge.
Me thinks glue or thread locker has been used, though I can see no evidence of this.
I really don’t want to destroy the thing trying to disassemble it.
Any information/advice on how to proceed would be greatly appreciated.
