New...'Saintfire' lights at Manafont

Eg: http://www.manafont.com/product_info.php/saintfire-k10-xre-5mode-memory-led-flashlight-set-aa-p-7296

Looks like more than just rebranded (whatever)Fire lights....even has a (somewhat clunky) manufacturers web site.

How many *Fire lights do we have now? I wonder if their stuff is any good and what it costs?

T30

from this page it has a 10 lumen low..200 hrs runtime (1.5hrs on 'Turbo' Mode) http://www.saintfire.com/Product/t30/2282.html

Trade sites show pricing as ~$53...but that's usually for bulk purchases

They claim Hard Anodizing which is nice. They look decent but too costly (especially for a unheard of ***fire brand) and the emitter is behind times.

Did you see the threads in that first one? Clean, square threading and it's nicely anodized. With the XR-E emitter i have to wonder how many years back the military standards date back to that it claims to meet. Certainly does appear to be well made on the surface, however.

What do you care ...you're just gonna cut it in half ,..and jam 3 xml's in it anyway .:P

I also like the ~10 lumen lows and long runtimes. I see not all of the lights have strobe/SOS modes.

Very interesting ...

They also seem to claim constant current on some models. If a true 10 lumens with constant current for a low mode, this might actually be something of interest. Someone will have to be a guinea pig (it won't be me).

ROFL!

Saintfires? I'm holding out for the Demonfire lights.

LOL! A “HellFire” torch would rock! I’d buy that or a “DemonFire” just for the name. :stuck_out_tongue:

Hellfire would be really nice!

The 2 AA model looks like a Fenix LD 20 http://www.manafont.com/product_info.php/saintfire-k20-xpe-5mode-memory-led-flashlight-set-2aa-p-7298 but the Fenix has 180 Ansi lumen on Turbo (for 2 hours and 16 minutes on 2500mAh batteries according to Fenix) and it is really digitally regulated (keeps maximum brightness untill the batteries are almost dead), this one has 230 Chinese lumen, probably only for a few seconds with new batteries.

But you can buy two Saintfires K20 for the price of one Fenix LD 20.

Someone has to try out these Saintfires...

Hopefully in the works !

I'm sure that SureFire did once sell an HID light with that name.

But it wouldn't be the first time I've been wrong....

;)

Found a review of a few of them (in German), here is the translated link:

I've seen all kind of non branded bodies sold on taobao. Then not long after they became branded to On The Road, or other names like that. But I see that somehow when the flashlights are targeted to the western world, suddenly they are branded with *Fire.
