New simple 1-mode Saik Q5 1xAA at KD and QCG

For those of you who prefer a 1-mode light, I suspect this new release will probably be quite a good buy:

Saik is apparently the same company as Romisen, judging from the footer of their website.  I own the Romisen RC-I3 and I need to do a review, but the quality is superb and I have read other very good reviews about Romisen.  So I imagine that this will vie for the top spot with the Hugsby P31 and the Uniquefire AA-S1 in the 1-mode 1xAA category.  It supposedly features a Q5 LED and it sports a classic, clean, beautiful cylindrical design.  I won't be buying it because I like modes.  But I suspect it might appeal to many of you.

It does have some good spec's indeed.  I noticed that the light is using a smooth reflector in this light which too me is something new, since most of there lights use OP.

With Darkness, there will always be Light.

Now available at DX: http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.39414

But this one says Q3-WC.  Even so, I would suspect that this will be a very nice light for those who prefer a single mode.

I've been shopping like a woman at a shoe sale. See what happens when you find a couple of extra bucks. Along with a MXDL T-51 & 'some' BLF DeLight's I've ordered a Saik SA-105 from DX. The Saik is supposed to have a Q3-WC emitter. Saik is supposedly part of Romisen & as I have stated in other posts, I like Romisen IMO they make a good light at a good price. We'll see.Surprised

I have one on order. I will let you know what I think. I have two Rominsen RC-G2s and think their quality is very good for the cash. Wish it had a pocket clip but should make a great spare light for the car or tool bag.
