Hello everyone. I have a question. I ordered a KDC8 18650 light from KD on 7/5/11. It is 7/12/11 and they have taken the money from PayPal some time ago. My order does not appear at all on the KD site and there is no info at all about any orders placed. What is going on and is this normal for KD? :) Thanks for the help. I know that it will takes weeks to get the order but I thought they would have some info about the order by now.
That has been the norm for my orders too. they always seem to show up but not without some level of frustration with the lack of follow up.
The big question is did you sign into your KD account before you made your purchase or after? If before, then you will not see it listed. This happened to me as well when I ordered the L2m XM-L light when it was popular a couple months ago. I received it just fine but viewing status online was a bugger.
For KD more than any other site I've used it important to log in first then complete your shopping. That way your order shows up easily. You can always email their support and give them your order #. They will give you your status. That's what I did and all worked out fine.
Were you logged in to your account when you placed the order? With any of these budget sellers you want to create a user account before you buy something. Then make sure you are logged in when you place the order.
I created an account and was logged in before I ordered from them. I will email them and ask about it and see what they say about the order. :)
just don't panic, stuff from KD just shows up and mostly quick(ish) ;)
The great folks on this site told me that the KD C8 is one heck of a light for the money, so that is what I am waiting for. :) I am looking forward to getting it and will just have to wait.....while they already have my $$$. :)

I will do just that. My couysin just called me so I am going to work with him tonight....he is an auto mechanic, so that will be fun. I get to work on my car tonight and best of all show off my UF 504B with 3 mode XML in it. He is not a flashlight guy....he is a Snap-On tool guy.....so I am sure my $20 light will blow away anything he has. LOL
I've never had an order from KD not appear in my KD account unless I wasn't signed in when I ordered. That seems odd to me. I think you're doing the right thing by contacting them about it. I doubt it is anything to worry about, but it is worth checking.
Of course they "take your money" right away because you send it to them. That's just how it works.
My cousin has that light. It runs on a 14.4v battery pack. It is a nice worklight but way overpriced for what it is and as a flashlight.....our stuff will put it to shame. LOL
