I got quite a lot of bulbs from him and another guy. Some 20 pcs. 55W would be $9 before shipping (not a lot) and 75W is 18.50.

If that's the case then my 20 bulbs would have costed 300-400 bucks and my searchlights a couple thousands of dollars.
Yeah, single ballasts are hard to come by even on aliexpress, usually they cost a lot more than a kit.
I see 2.41usd shipping cost to USA for the first item, and 7 dollars shipping to USA for the second item. You using 1-2 days UPS Expedited? Anyway its both $2 shipping cost for both items to SG. Use CPAM, they do this for items below 2kg.
The idea is to have a constant stream, no breakage... haha. Anyway I purchased from Junxiang Auto parts, hmmm....i got my light and bulbs this morning, they upgraded FOC from China Post Air Mail to 4PX, it was still in Shanghai (China) yesterday and Pudong Int Airport last night! They have all these mini courier companies like LWE etc... Crazy fast, as fast as DHL. But i paid for China Post.
Depending if there are next available planes or not, sometimes CN -> CONUS could be faster than CN -> SIN my country. Seems like there are always more flights to USA.
