Just saw this at LPF, may be useful for fine tuning flashlights’ thermal pathways.
That's awesome! I wish there were more competitors in this market like there are in DMMs. Flir is the best at what they make but they are expensive. I could do with a harbor freight version of these thermal imaging cameras like we have with DMMs. :P
It’s 80x60 resolution, so almost a crap.
Better buy flir e4 (also 80x60) but software hack makes it 320x240 which is a HUGE difference.

No it doesn’t. You look at normal photo part which is taken at high resolution (done by iphone camera).
IR part is not very detailed. If that would be photo of some PCB then you wouldn’t even know which IC
is hot and which not (if these would be close to each other).
The example photos are not detailed on purpose. Otherwise you would see how bad it is.

So the stock resolution is not so bad at all. The 320x240 is of course super awesome.
