For Sale C8 de-domed XP-G2 on a sinkpad 5amp infinately variable modded and potted driver. $20 free shipping.

For sale is a C8 with an XP-G2 de-domed and on a Sinkpad. The driver has several modes than can be accessed. One is just High. It can be set to come on in high each time you use it until you change it. The second group is the default group and it is High, medium and low. There third group is Ramping it goes from Moonlight to high and can be stopped anywhere you want and then it will come back on where you stopped it each time until you change it. The Fourth group is 30%, Beacon, strobe and SOS. The driver had a resistor mod done and was fully potted to keep it running cool.

The beam is perfect with a very tight hotspot and a nice flood, the tint is neutral/cool.

It’s a great little thrower and with all the modes it makes it a very versatile light.

$20 and shipping is free in the US

$15 and exact shipping for anyone else.

I’m a junky, I mod lights so I can sell lights so I can buy more light to mod so I can sell lights to buy more lights to mod.

Got the light today and I’m only seeing 2.5A on an EagleTac 3400. Guess I need a higher draw battery?

Also, what tint/bin is the LED?

Have now had a chance to work with it.
Getting just over 3 amps after braiding the driver spring and dressing the solder at the driver/pill area and cleaning the battery tube connection. Seemed like it would drop amperage from a small bump or handling prior to the dressing.
UI on this particular driver is an experience, but once I got it back to Low.Med.High I am happy and hope to never shift it off that mode again.

Sucker is a nice laser/pocket light.
Good deal.
Thanks!
Keith
