I think it has a small aspheric lens over the emitter, kind of like the old H501 flood Zebralights.
Twisty UI has pluses and minuses so it’s great to see more options for 1xAA angleheads. The price seems pretty good but mandatory UPS shipping is kinda :money_mouth_face: .
We like their Copper CR123 twisty a lot. The price is not bad, though much higher than a TrustFire Z1, which is another nicely made small angle head and can be quickly turned into a mule by unscrewing the reflector. Annoying that they give the size only in inches. Pure flood with the led way closer to the lens than its focal length, like a zoomy zoomed out. For reading maps and not street signs.
I like. I don’t think it looks like a TIR, A dome lens I think. A button would be nicer than a twisty for me, especially if there is a headband attachment.
It is a simple lens (is it glass or plastic??) , and that causes the even flood, I like this light a lot, also the simple l-m-h UI, but I wonder why they chose the XP-G2 instead of an XM-L2 which is more efficient and it is only flood anyway.
