I made these recently and have not yet tried them out. They are made using hobby 4mm bullet connectors. I’m quite certain that higher quality bullets available, these are exceptionally cheap ones from HobbyKing (I note that since I purchased them they’ve become available from both of HK’s USA warehouses). When you measure current you’ve typically got a couple of less than ideal points in the measurement chain. I figure these bullets will be the least of my worries and give me more flexibility.
If a meter is suddenly suspected of acting up I can hook the leads up to a different one. And if I wanted to I could make several sets and use as many as needed simultaneously without having to solder crap into my meter.
I think these bullets are brass, I scraped one deep and it was that same gold color inside.
