How to charge D cell batteries with the MAHA C9000?

Does anyone know how to charge D cells in a MAHA C9000?

I don’t mean the D to AA adapters to fit them in the charger, I mean the actual charging of the battery.

I have read a lot of conflicting info about them in my searches but I’d like to ask here if anyone here has done it themselves?

Some of the information I have read includes: it will only charge 4000mAh at a time (despite having 20000mAh break in selection), the charger wont know when to stop charging due to resistance or voltage drop etc.

I was hoping with a set of adapters I could just put D cells in and charge them normally.

I really don’t want to go to the trouble of using a hobby charger.

Thanks for any advice.

Thanks for the link but thats some of the conflicting info I was talking about (I searched and read for about 4+ hours on the weekend without any conclusion).

Some say yes it works, some say it cuts out at 4000mAh.

I guess it depends on the version?

The only things that look like it could be version numbers on mine are “0L0BA” and “A04-3713419-495”

Still looking for info if anyone here has just charged them normally or not as I remember a lot of threads where people were recommending the D and C charging adapters to each other.
