Nitecore EC21 Problem

I have noticed that my Nitecore EC21 will turn off when subjected to a longitudinal force. Ususally that wouldn’t be a problem but the electronics detect a battery removal and insertion and go straight to voltage check. This happened recently when I jumped down about 3 feet with the light turned on and held in my hand.

I would expect that a stiffer rear spring would help. Any suggestions on other fixes?

Try to solder a copper braid (or a wire) inside that spring if you can, from bottom to the top. That will stiffen it enough.

Mine only works with larger protected button tops.
