I have a lot of smart chargers for 3.6 & 3.7 volt - 18650s, they charge to the standard 4.2v great but when I charge the
new 3.8 volt cells and run them thru a discharge cycle their capacity in ma is about 1/2 what it should be. It’s obvious I
need a charger that will go to 4.3 or 4.35 volts. I have a boat load of standard 18650s and plenty of computerized
chargers with fancy readouts, I don’t need another one for the few 3.8 volt cells I have, I just need a cheap charger for them as I can use the other chargers to run discharge cycles and capacity measurements.
eBay adjustable CC/CV module for 4.3v cell charging? Worked for me till I won :bigsmile: an Xtar VP2 with 4.35v option.
