My cheap travel charger die. Suggest a new one.

I use a very low budget charger like "travel" charger. It works for a year and today when i plugged it in i heard a "puff", then smoke... Gone forever. I open it and a black area suggest me to throw it away.

Now i need a new "travel" charger.

I need it to charge protected 18650 and eventually 14500. It has to be quite fast but without damaging cell.

What are your suggestion?

Two possible candidate are:

- XTAR Mp1

- Trustfire TR001

I've been using one for a couple of years. Still cuts off at 4.18v on both channels. Simple and reliable.

Thanks for your answer. How long it takes to fully charge an empty 18650?

Any other opinion?
