This is a high current 14500 from a good manufacturer.











The discharge curves do track nicely and capacity is fairly constant up to 5A load.















Conclusion

The cell is very good quality, performance is fairly good, but cannot match the best performing high capacity or high current cells on the market.

I could not find any datasheets on it, but I doubt it is new. If it had been new I would have expected it to be one of the best (or more likely "the best") high current cell around.

They seem indeed!

I’ve analyzed some efest 14500 v1 700mAh and some Fasttech IMR 14500….il post link if someone asks…. To 4A and 5A….and the beat the hell out from the Efest… Hard to believe… Less sag, better curve tracking, and more capacity… Always 600+ mAh under every load I could test…

I’ve also compared some nitecore 14500 and they perform very poorly with something more than 1A load… Something less of 300mAh under 4A

Humm… I see what you mean… I suspected they were windy fire… I’ll check my graphs and see if they overlay pretty seamlessly… Anyway… They are objectively far superior to efest and with price of one of the v1 (here in europe) you could buy 3 of 4 of better IMR cells…

There is another battery, with very good performance.
The HEB 14500 high drain.
Some people say very good things about this battery .

I have not , but I want to know about this battery .
If anyone can help me …… Thanks in advance
