I’m looking to upgrade my arsenal of 18650 protected batteries. (currently using Xtar 2600mAh 18700’s)
Seeking the best price for the highest capacity and best quality. (Japanese cell w/seiko protection circuit)

2PCS NCR 18650B 3.7V 3400mAh Protected Rechargeable Lithium Battery

I like the price as I’ll need about 8+ cells but I’m wondering if they are genuine, maybe china made protection circuit? Also wondering about the unusual steel bottom contact, they appear to have a protruding “bump”, unlike most I see just have the flat copper bottom (bottom of the protection circuit board?)

I only want the highest capacity, 3400+ mAh. I’d prefer flat tops (if they were shorter) but I don’t see any of those in high capacity protected.

Also looking at these two but the price is a lot higher than Banggood, and no free shipping, although probably genuine and still a good deal I suppose for USA suppliers:

Liion wholesale also have the green wrap panny 3400 $1 more than their red wrap Sanyo/Pana, appears same as Banggoods but their photo doesn’t show the bottom.

Check Fasttech as well. They also have Panasonic 18650Bs for 4/$26. And some others. Look around their site. They have the same batteries for different prices. I bought 16 of them. They look authentic. Took about 2 weeks to the US.

I have not even charged them yet. Two days without power the day after they got here.

I actually got my NCR18650B Protected from Gearbest.com, and they are legit after testing and Panasonics datasheet. (Min 3200 - max 3350). I did buy 3 * 4 two times from them and 18 pcs from an Aliexpress store (Global Power Co., LTD), all checks out.
