Palight CARONITE GS2600 2600lm MT-G2 2x26650 (2016)

It is a brand new light from Palight. It is kind of resemble Fenix Tk35, Nitecore P36 and Small Sun ZY-T08, with both cells loaded parallel from each other. You will definitely get more runtime out from a pair of 26650 if you intend to up emitter to XHP50 or XHP70 later.

I must say that it looks very nice. Nice shape. Not sure if it's easy to hold though.

This is a cool looking light. Though it may not be comfortable to hold, its innovative. a Warm White ” Night Light” in the tail. Also the build finish looks really good.

Nothing beats cylindrical tube in terms of comfort. I tried to cup a pair of 26650 in their protective box with my medium size palm just now. I think it is still manageable, my fingers are able to cover at least 60% of its diameter.

cool looking light freeme.
any price yet for this light?

Palight official store is selling at a steep price of $77 (excl shipping).

Hhm, looks like a `fatty`!!

Any sample for review?

LOL, that looks like a blown up version of the Fenix TK35 UE. Two 26650s side by side, really? Why not two 18650s so you could at least HOLD that thing comfortably?
Sorry but this is a fail IMHO, specially for the price. Much too big, too heavy, not enough lumens.
I neither care for the little lights at the tail, nor for the fancy gloves you get (really?)… look at the cheap tailcap with the screws…

I´m also not sure if a SMO reflector is the right choice for the MT-G2 … might be too small for real throw since the MT-G2 is a flooder anyway. For a cheap slod MT-G2 light I´d still recommend Shadow JM35, the Fenix TK35 UE for a bit more power and the Klarus G30 if you need a long lasting unversal flooder.

Wow. Notable as a first side by side 26650. I respect them for making something new. I am a buyer 2 years from now, of a used light, or one on clearance, at a very low price. Or with 3 XHP 50s, it would be harder to resist. You rarely get the best deal buying a brand new light, with BLF designed group buys being the main exception. I already have a shadow JM30 MTG2 that I don’t use. This light has a deeper reflector.

I wear a 2XL glove so skip that part of the deal. I do really like this light and could see it as a modular set up. Different heads; MT-G2 for flood, 4-8 XP-L flood master, XHP-50 for a compromise, and XHP-70 for the lumen junkie. One body with the electronics, extra heads for the task at hand. I like the 2-3 lumen tail nightlight.

Very cool looking light, but what is up with those gloves in the picture? Had someone just watched an early Jackie Chan movie?

The backup tail led is a very nice touch. I really hopes it comes in a host form or at least in a XHP70 version.

If I’m right this light doesn’t allow quick swapping cells since both ends are screwed down, but this shouldn’t be any problem if the integrated charger does a good job.

How about a lumen boost and then have it sized so a ledi reflector can drop in.

Hopefully I will have one of these lights for review in a couple weeks. If gearbest sends one before I go into the hospital.

I actually typed this on my kindle fire tablet. A first for me, to post with a tablet.
