I have 2 xhp50 leds, i want one to have a spot beam and the other to be wide beam.
Can anyone recommend a suitable reflectors?
Thanks in advance.

Do you have a host / head in mind ?
If you want a throwy beam with the XHP50 you must go big, 40mm+ big. One of the best host for this led is the Jax X6 hunter, it throws a nice beam even with the OP reflector.
For flood, a TIR optic or even an S2+ (op) reflector woud be good, no ?
Nah this is for a bike light so ill be making most of the parts.
Probably going to look a bit poo, but as long as its bright, i dont mind
50mm is about max really, 70 is far too big lol
Are you planning on using both flood and throw on a bike?
Something with a wide angle and small diameter reflector like a Convoy S3 reflector should flood well.
Throw is a much more exacting topic. You’d have to specify what distance you wanted to throw to…
Though I don’t know why you’d need much throw on a bike.
I’d use a single size/shape reflector that gave both decent throw and a fair amount of spill and put it on both LED’s. I can’t think of any reason to get two distinctly different reflectors, except maybe if you’re actually gonna use them independently (one’s shut off while the other is on).
Edit: Or get a zoomie and set the spot/flood balance any way you like!
A few reasons, my friends have spent a lot on their lights, id like as bright or brighter.
I like the fact that i build my lights rather than just buy them.
I currently have a 35w HID. I need to make this better.
Reasons i want throw is i cycle fast through the woods, i want to see as much as possible.
I like to record my rides via gopro, i need enough light to get a decent video.
Try going with Carclo Optics Elliptical TIR lense, a flat wide beam optic, puts the light where you need it and doesn't waste light. the 30mm would have to be used with the xhp50. Also Gaggione has a 45mm elliptical (LLC49E) lense as well, a bit flatter and narrower beam profile, but it would be brighter. Spots, Gaggione also has the LLC56N optic, which has a 9 degree FWHM beam with the xhp50, or a ~12 degree spot with the xhp70. Both the xhp-50 and xhp-70 would have the same peak Lux intensity, but the xhp70 will 'light up more area.'
I sent Carclo optics an email, i chose 3 pairs of lenses and received them last week.
I will post a beamshot of all 3 when i get a chance, hopefully may help someone else
