Groomsman gift around $15 or under

Any ideas for a groomsman gift? I was thinking the Sipik 68 which can run on normal AA's for non flashaholics. The L2r with drop in seems a little expensive with everything else purchased. Any other budget single mode AA light is open to suggestion. What do you guys think?

What is your timeframe on this?

The CQG S1 (ric-cn is currently doing the BLF logo for) looks good. If you can wait till someone gets their grubby little paws on it for a review, then you'd probably be happy picking them up bulk (10 pcs @$12/pp) w/out the BLF logo

Or.. wait for the mystery AA successor...

SS bling lights, it'd probably cost more to get them engraved than the light... but a nice gift still

Xeno E03. Not $15 but your groomsmen will love you and its a one off, cheap compared to what you are spending on the wedding!

My suggestion is this :

One mode , one AAA

Simple , bright and cool

You could also consider the 3-mode xp-e ones on clearance there for $15.75:

I know you said a flashlight, but have you considered a knife instead? I would have loved to get one of these as a groomsman present instead of all of the mugs and glasses that I have received. I could actually use a knife or flashlight! Ka-bar Dozier for $18 shipped from amazon.

How about the Trustfire F23 from tmart, fast delivery, $12.88, slim and very classy looking

Are you getting married?

I can agee with that. Gotta go stainless as a gift though. Another good choice would be an Ultrafire C3 SS for $15.89

Great suggestions. I still have some time to decide. Getting married on 11/12/11.

Wow! If I bring my own lights (and tux), can I be a groomsman too?

(Seriously, given shipping times from some chinese dealers, you don't have all THAT much time to decide)

I've received my tmart orders in 3 days in the past.

Hmm. We really should trade jackbooted thugs sometimes. Canadian customs can take anywhere from 4 days to 4 weeks.

LOL…you can keep them. We get lucky with tmart because they ship out of Brooklyn, NY and being in PA I’ve got some items in 2 days. Only had one bad item not as described and they refunded my money quickly and paid for return shipping. Most of their lights are older stuff so i don’t use them as much as I’d like but they sell a great variety of other things.

Good to hear Tmart ships out of Brooklyn. I just checked the registered mail from HK everyday for almost a month waiting on lights. Worst part... registered mail meant someone has to sign for it, so I had to wait a few extra days to get to the US Post Office. Terrible. Just leave it at the doorstep like Amazon.

Devman - if you feel like making the trip from canada you're in. Haha. Strobes instead of bubbles/rice walking out of church? No cleanup

I'm going to second this light …As a AAA keychain light …or for the same 12$ you can get the S2 AA’s …Might want to wait for neutrals with r4 emitters and 14500 capabilities …and a blf logo too

Still haven't decided on a flashlight yet. Somehow this forum has made me pull the trigger on a Sanrenmu 710 folding knife in addition to a medium size Nike/Adidas duffel bag, some golf balls and a bottle of their favorite liquor. Acceptable gift? (depending on the flashlight choice of course) Haha. Call it their "survival bag".

Knife, booze, golf balls, duffle bag, ...

Where are you having your bachelor party, bangkok?

I wish. State College, PA. (Penn State Alma Mater) Someone has to help the young girls with their college funds ... $1 at a time.

Trustfire R5-A3 is a great light i give away frequently. if you order 6 or more you can get them from DX for 13usd. more at manafont (almost 17usd) but it might be more recent stock and they ship pretty fast.

high-medium- and strobe, pocket clip, well made, will eat anything (14500, eneloop, supermarket batteries), run times are conservative but for non-flashlight people i have never had any response to this light but, "wow".

as i have said before, if they dumped the strobe and made that mode a useable low. this would be the killer sub 15usd light for non-modifiers.
